Aos 15 anos de idade, a bailarina Fernanda Bianchini começou, voluntariamente, a ensinar balé clássico para deficientes visuais. Aprendeu com a prática e os sentidos e fundou, sete anos depois, uma associação que leva o seu nome. Desde então, dedicou-se aos estudos para criar o reconhecido método de balé para cegos. Após duas décadas, e três filhos na bagagem, a Companhia Ballet de Cegos conta com mais de 200 alunos em vários cursos gratuitos. Suas bailarinas são conhecidas no Brasil e no Exterior, apresentando-se em vários países — em 2002, encerraram a festa das Paraolimpíadas em Londres. O Pedaço da Vila conversa, a seguir, com a professora, que recorda os primeiros passos do projeto, destaca a sensibilidade do toque para a criação de seu método de ensino; explica a importância das doações para manter a associação e revela o seu maior sonho: conquistar uma sede para ampliar os cursos e os alunos

Pedaço da Vila: Você começou a ensinar balé clássico para cegos e criou um método de ensino referência no mundo. Quais foram os primeiros passos?

Fernanda Bianchini: O projeto teve início por um desafio que foi lançado em minha vida quando tinha 15 anos de idade. Durante uma visita ao instituto de Cegos Padre Chico, no Ipiranga, onde meus pais eram voluntários, uma das irmãs do instituto,  ao saber que eu era bailarina, me perguntou se era possível um cego aprender balé clássico. Eu disse que eu não sabia, pois me considerava incapaz de fazer um projeto tão especial assim. Fazia balé desde os 3 anos de idade. Então meu pai falou: “filha, nunca diga não a um desafio, pois é dele que partem os maiores ensinamentos de nossas vidas”. Essas palavras entraram em minha vida e no meu coração e me acompanham até hoje. Estou há quase 21 anos realizando esse trabalho voluntário que só me enriqueceu como ser humano. Os alunos e alunas têm me ensinado muito. Todos os dias eu aprendo a fechar os olhos da visão, que são extremamente preconceituosos, e a abrir os olhos do coração. 

Pedaço da Vila: Sem nenhuma experiência como professora, como foram os primeiros contatos com as alunas cegas? 

Fernanda Bianchini: No primeiro dia, achei que ao chegar na sala de aula todas as alunas estariam prontas. Mas vi que elas estavam de cabelo solto e sem a roupa adequada. Ao me apresentar como professora, as meninas começaram a me tatear para me conhecer. Eu achei muito lindo! Eu precisei apresentar tudo para elas, ensinar que era preciso usar sapatilhas, a fazer o coque, a usar a meia-calça, o collant. Meus pais me ajudaram muito, compraram tudo o que precisava para que elas pudessem dançar. Quando fui ensinar o primeiro passo de balé, eu pedi para elas imaginarem que estavam saltando dentro e fora de um balde, para terem a dimensão da abertura e do salto. Aí uma aluna levantou a mão e me perguntou como era um balde, pois nunca tinha ‘visto’ um. Foi nesse momento que eu percebi o quanto precisava entrar no mundo dos cegos, entender as suas dificuldades, para aí, então, apresentar o mundo da dança clássica para elas. Era o que eu estava disposta a ensinar! E foi nessa troca que eu fui construindo o método de balé para cegos.

Pedaço da Vila: O método Ballet de Cegos foi construído pela intuição. De que maneira o conhecimento acadêmico foi importante para consolidá-lo?   

Fernanda Bianchini: Para chegar até o método eu estudei fisioterapia, depois me graduei em equilíbrio e postura; meu mestrado foi sobre o método de Ballet para Cegos. Mas, todo o aprendizado acontece pela sensibilidade do toque, pela percepção corporal. Eu tenho que emprestar meu corpo para elas aprenderem, e elas também têm que aceitar esse toque. Teve um momento em que eu não conseguia ensinar a leveza dos braços que todas as bailarinas precisam ter para dançar. Na parte das pernas elas aprendiam direitinho, mas os braços ficavam duros. Então, uma noite eu sonhei que não tinha braços; no lugar dos meus braços havia duas folhas de palmeira. Rapidamente, ao me lembrar do sonho, associei as folhas aos braços das meninas. O movimento de uma palmeira com o vento é semelhante ao que uma bailarina precisa ter para dançar. Elas sentiam a leveza da folha pelo toque e aprendiam aquele movimento: a leveza dos gestos.

Pedaço da Vila: Quando e por que você decidiu criar a Associação Fernanda Bianchini?

Fernanda Bianchini: No começo, eu usava o espaço do instituto Padre Chico para dar aulas, onde fiquei por sete anos. Lá eu só podia ensinar quem era do instituto, mas apareciam muitas pessoas interessadas em fazer aula comigo e não podiam. Como eu era voluntária, percebi que a minha proposta poderia ir muito mais além daquilo. E foi aí que decidi fundar, em 2003, a Associação Fernanda Bianchini, com um objetivo mais amplo, ao lado de pais e alunos. Com a associação eu abri mais cursos, passei a dar aulas de sapateado, balé clássico, dança de salão, expressão corporal, teatro. Como na época  eu tinha muitos amigos artistas, eu os convidava para dar as aulas. 

Pedaço da Vila: Quantas pessoas trabalham na associação?

Fernanda Bianchini: Hoje são 14 professores, 5 voluntários e 204 alunos, distribuídos em 22 turmas. Até hoje, mais de 800 alunos já passaram pela associação. O projeto começou com alunos cegos e foi ampliado para todos os tipos de deficiência. Temos cadeirantes, Down, surdos, alunos com deficiência intelectual. Os cursos oferecidos pela associação são gratuitos e destinados a pessoas de todas as idades.

Pedaço da Vila: Como a Associação é mantida?

Fernanda Bianchini: Pela Lei Rouanet, editais, e principalmente por doações de empresas e de pessoas físicas. Costumo fazer palestras motivacionais em eventos com a intenção de arrecadar mais recursos para a associação, pois estamos instalados em uma casa de aluguel. Outra maneira de ajudar a associação é participando do bazar; no dia 16 de junho acontecerá um aqui na sede [Rua Domingos de Moraes, 1775]. 

Pedaço da Vila: Com toda essa projeção e reconhecimento, você já alcançou tudo o que queria?

Fernanda Bianchini: Como o atual espaço já está pequeno, o meu maior sonho é ter uma sede própria, grande, um prédio de três andares, para acolher ainda mais alunos e ampliar os nossos cursos.  

Pedaço da Vila: As bailarinas têm se apresentado em muitos países. Os convites continuam em 2016?

Fernanda Bianchini: Tem sido maravilhoso o reconhecimento do trabalho delas. Em 2004 fomos para Buenos Aires; depois, em 2007, para Nova York; em 2012, na cerimônia de encerramento das Paraolimpíadas, em Londres. No ano passado fomos para a Alemanha. Nessas viagens, as alunas foram tratadas como princesas; aqui, no Brasil, para participar, temos que arcar com os custos. Neste ano iremos para Los Angeles e, em julho, nos apresentaremos em um festival na Polônia. Eu quero mostrar para o mundo que nada é impossível quando se tem força de vontade e se acredita no sonho!

Pedaço da Vila: O que norteou seu trabalho durante esses 20 anos de Companhia?

Fernanda Bianchini: Eu não queria que fosse um trabalho voluntário bonitinho para os olhos das pessoas. Eu queria que fosse um trabalho sério e digno. Eu acredito que a inclusão só vai acontecer verdadeiramente quando nos colocamos no lugar do outro. Eu sempre quis que elas fossem aplaudidas por dançarem com qualidade, não pelo fato de serem bailarinas cegas, incapazes, como a sociedade prega sobre os deficientes.
