Conselho Participativo da Vila Mariana
Criado em 2013, o Conselho Participativo Municipal é um órgão atua de modo autônomo e é formado exclusivamente por membros da sociedade civil. Este ano, foram 531 vagas para conselheiros (493 brasileiros e 38 imigrantes) nas 32 Subprefeituras — as vagas são calculadas de acordo com o número de habitantes da região. De acordo com a legislação atual, as mulheres devem ocupar pelo menos 50% das vagas disponíveis. Foram computados 11761 votos em toda a eleição, sendo: 11602 votos válidos; 136 votos nulos e 23 votos brancos. A Quantidade total de candidatos inscritos foram 548 e 12 imigrantes.
A participação dos moradores da Vila Mariana foi ínfima se a compararmos à população correspondente à subprefeitura VM , cerca de 350 mil pessoas — ao todo, 638 eleitores compareceram às urnas.
Foram eleitos 15 conselheiros participativos municipais da Subprefeitura Vila Mariana que terão a responsabilidade de construir políticas públicas e colaborar com a gestão da cidade de São Paulo através do controle social de planejamento; fiscalizar e utilização de recursos públicos em cada uma das 32 Subprefeituras; articular com os diferentes segmentos da sociedade civil organizada, zelar para que os direitos da população e os interesses públicos sejam atendidos nos serviços, pro-
programas e projetos públicos da região
Além disso, os conselheiros monitoram no âmbito de seu território a execução orçamentária, a evolução dos Indicadores de Desempenho dos Serviços Públicos e a execução do Plano de Metas.
