Gigante pela própria natureza

Estar em um paraíso, cercado por belezas naturais, encantada com a majestosa fauna e flora de uma paisagem de lindas rochas que ilustram belíssimas praias… Eu, paralisada entre a linha do horizonte e esse cenário paradisíaco. É assim que você se sente em Fernando de Noronha: parece um sonho de lugar e, por melhor que seja descrito em palavras, fica difícil expressar a experiência de estar ali. 

Fernando de Noronha é um arquipélago vulcânico formado por 21 ilhas, com 26 km de extensão e pertencente ao estado de Pernambuco. Apesar de minha curta estadia na região, apenas 3 dias, aproveitei o melhor o que esse paraíso oferece aos inúmeros turistas que chegam diariamente. 

A história oficial conta que a ilha foi descoberta por volta de 1500, por Américo Vespúcio, quando ele integrava a segunda expedição portuguesa de exploração da costa brasileira. Capitaneada por Gonçalo Coelho, foi financiada por Fernan de Noronha, quem deu origem ao nome da ilha. 

A principal atividade do local é o turismo e, obviamente, sua gastronomia é rica em alimentos marinhos. Outros produtos possuem um preço bem elevado, pois só chegam por embarcação ou de avião. Os altos custos são ocasionados pelo longo trajeto, que, por ser demorado, pode resultar no estrago de muitos alimentos.

O arquipélago tem aproximadamente 2,1 mil habitantes. O número de visitantes que conhecem a região é bem controlado, a fim de preservar o meio ambiente. Para entrar na ilha é necessário pagar uma taxa de preservação ambiental, que atualmente custa 40 reais ao dia de estada. Por lá não se veem muitos carros convencionais, mas bugues que são alugados pelos turistas que querem conhecer a ilha. 

A Baía dos Porcos, considerada a segunda praia mais bonita do Brasil, foi o primeiro lugar que visitei. Composta por lindas piscinas naturais e rodeada por rochas, a baía exige um pouco de esforço para chegar, pois seu único acesso por terra é por uma pequena caminhada na areia, com um trecho cheio de pedras. Mas tudo é compensável, quando se encara a magnífica paisagem, de onde é possível avistar o Morro dos Dois Irmãos, uma formação rochosa que recebeu esse nome devido a sua característica – duas rochas de mesma forma estrutural.

Outro ponto turístico maravilhoso e que dispensa um certo esforço para chegar até ele, é a famosa Baía do Sancho, essa, sim, considerada a praia mais bonita do Brasil. Para chegar é necessário descer uma escada que fica dentro de uma fenda de rocha – é possível chegar também por barco ou escalando as pedras da Baía dos Porcos. O lugar é delicioso para se refrescar com um banho de mar e um mergulho – nada mais prazeiroso depois do longo percurso!

Algumas outras praias encantadoras e ideais para banho e mergulho são a Praia da Conceição, onde está localizado o famoso Morro do Pico — um dos principais cartões-postais da ilha —, e Baía Sueste, onde podemos mergulhar em um mar esverdeado e tranquilo. Quem for visitar não pode esquecer o snorkel, para nadar e ver as lindas tartarugas marinhas que chegam aos bandos — uma particularidade inesquecível! Outra é a Praia da Cacimba, uma das maiores da ilha, que também proporciona uma excelente vista para o Morro Dois Irmãos.  Ao final do dia, voltei para a Praia da Conceição, onde pude me maravilhar com um lindo por do sol. 

No dia seguinte fiz uma caminhada até a Vila dos Remédios, que faz parte do centrinho, onde está localizada a igreja Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, construída em 1772 pelos portugueses.  Também visitei o Palácio de São Miguel, que constitui a sede da administração da ilha, e as ruínas tombadas de um antigo presídio que funcionou entre 1737 e 1942.

Depois de fazer uma caminhada histórica pela Vila dos Remédios e entender a história da região, fiz um inesquecível passeio de barco — saindo da Baía e Porto de Santo Antônio, passando pelas principais praias da ilha —, onde fomos acompanhados por diversos golfinhos. Há duas formas possíveis de vê-los em Fernando de Noronha: de barco ou indo até a Baía dos Golfinhos, lá pelas seis da manhã, horário em que eles se encontram para descansar, alimentar os filhotes e se reproduzir.

E se vocês pensam que minha viagem acabou por aí, estão enganados. De volta, conheci Porto de Galinhas, localizado em Ipojuca, município de Pernambuco. O distrito é conhecido por suas belas praias e piscinas naturais. Em muitos lugares só se chega pelo mar; por isso, passeei muito de jangada.Também me encantei com as Praias de Carneiro e Muro Alto, caracterizadas por um ambiente tranquilo, limpo e repleto de águas claras. 

Além de Ipojuca, passei por Recife, onde visitei a primeira sinagoga das Américas (que foi implantada pelos judeus na época da invasão holandesa), a Ponte Maurício de Nassau e a Praça da República, onde se localizam o Palácio do Governo, o Teatro de Santa Isabel e o Palácio da Justiça — lembrei-me das aulas de história! Visitei a Embaixada dos Bonecos, localizado na Rua Bom Jesus, no Recife Antigo. Lá, apreciei a exposição permanente de bonecos gigantes de vários artistas e políticos. Também visitei o parque de envelhecimento da cachaça em barris de carvalho, da Cachaçaria Carvalheira — para quem gosta, um passeio e tanto! 

Fui também para Olinda e conheci a Igreja da Sé, no Alto da Sé, de onde tive uma vista panorâmica de Olinda e Recife; passei também pelas ladeiras onde ocorre o famoso Carnaval, quando o povo desce as ruas, seguindo bonecos gigantes ou então pulando atrás dos blocos que colorem a cidade.

Essas férias foram uma experiência incrível e muito enriquecedora, pude ver como o Brasil é dotado de patrimônios históricos e culturais, que pelo que constatei estão bem preservados. Aprendi com tudo isso que devemos ter orgulho de viver nesse país tropical, abençoado por Deus!
