Santos – Imigrantes de Bike

O Desafio Bicicletas ao Mar é organizado pelo Instituto BRCiclos, uma Ong criada com o intuito de incentivar o uso da bicicleta, usando o modal para melhorar a qualidade de vida das pessoas. A ideia é fazer os participantes vencer uma grande distância de bicicleta, introduzindo os ciclistas iniciantes na prática do Cicloturismo.

Em São Paulo, o Desafio é pedalar da capital até a cidade de Santos, um trajeto com cerca de 90 quilômetros e, pelo segundo ano consecutivo, eu e minha esposa tivemos a oportunidade de participar dessa maravilhosa experiência. Desde os preparativos até o ponto de partida, é uma sensação única de fazer parte de um movimento maior.

Este ano aconteceu no dia 1 de dezembro e mais de 40 mil ciclistas participaram rumo a Santos. A prática de um esporte provê diferentes sensações. Desde cansaço e desânimo à superação de sentir seu próprio corpo envolto por uma adrenalina sem igual.

Para quem acha que a descida até Santos é um caminho fácil, engana-se. Passamos por diferentes desafios. Subidas, retas e, sim, uma extraordinária descida com vista da Mata Atlântica e do mar.  Dá a maior vontade de soltar os freios e ir embora, mas devemos nos policiar e manter um ritmo controlado para a segurança dos ciclistas e de suas bikers. É muito legal ver famílias inteiras de bike pedalando em meio aos túneis e asfalto,  contemplando as belezas da natureza. O astral é maravilhoso!

Este ano a descida foi pela Rodovia Imigrantes — no ano passado foi pela Anchieta – com mais acidentes, uns 25, devido a muitos ciclistas inexperientes. Mas, mesmo assim, não tirou o encantando do passeio. Alguns ciclistas precisam ter consciência de que é um passeio e não uma disputa. O objetivo maior é o de compor respeito à mobilidade urbana. E não um circuito competitivo.

Foi emocionante participar desse envolvimento no Cicloativismo. Superar os próprios limites —  não pedalávamos há 6 meses! — e chegar até Santos. Isso só mostra que todos somos capazes. E que, com um pouco de dedicação e perseverança, podemos fazer a diferença de um mundo melhor. Contribuindo para uma vida com mais harmonia e sustentabilidade.

Este ano um dos fatos que mais me chamaram atenção foi ver o número de crianças participando, mesmo com o coração na mão é lindo ver uma família participando de um evento desse tipo. Lançando a criança, cada vez mais cedo, na prática de esporte. Tinha até um ciclista, com um carrinho acoplado em sua bicicleta, levando um cachorro! Vimos também uma criança que ainda estava com uma bicicleta de rodinhas! Todas super- equipadinhas: de capacete, luva e até joelheiras. Uma graça! Mas, todas lembrando da ladeira final. A responsabilidade de pedalar por você e por esse outrinhos, dá um certo nervoso…

Foram exatamente 6h de passeio, onde percorremos 76 km. Sim, foi uma viagem para Santos como nenhuma outra! Fiquei 3 dias sem sentar direito (kkk). Mas faria tudo de novo! E farei no próximo ano! Que venha 2020! Já estamos em contagem regressiva!

No ano que vem, a coisa pode melhorar: o ex-governador Márcio França (PSB) sancionou em 2018 a lei que oficializa a rota fixa e criou o ciclo comitê e o evento o Pedal Anchieta, com o apoio do poder público. Embora a lei seja estadual, falta concluir o trajeto da rota, com a construção de uma ciclovia e de uma passarela para garantir a segurança dos ciclistas e evitar que eles acessem a rodovia.  A  Ecovias, que administra o Sistema Anchieta-Imigrantes, informou que o projeto, que prevê a implantação de 5 km de ciclovia na Imigrantes e uma passarela nas proximidades da entrada do Parque Estadual Serra do Mar, está em análise.A Artesp e aguarda autorização para iniciar as obras.
