Peru: paisagens de tirar o fôlego
Após dois longos anos de dedicação integral à implementação da minha loja de produtos naturais — o Viva Melhor Empório, na Rua Áurea —, consegui parar para respirar novos ares e realizar um antigo sonho: conhecer Machu Picchu, no Peru! Vou tentar aqui, dar algumas dicas para quem decidir um dia visitar esse lugar que, não sem razão, é considerado pela Unesco como Patrimônio da Humanidade. Decidimos ficar em Cusco, por ser mais próximo de Machu Picchu e de outros locais que queríamos conhecer.
Atenção para o soroche — também conhecido como mal da altitude —, ele pode acabar com seu passeio, acredite! Assim, a primeira coisa a fazer quando chega-se no aeroporto de Cusco é atravessar a rua e comprar uma cartela de Soroche Pills e algumas balas de coca para evitar as dores de cabeça, mal–estar, náuseas e falta de ar que ocorrem em razão da altitude de mais de 3 mil metros que Cusco está localizada. A melhor forma de conhecer a singularidade daquele lugar é contratar três pacotes turísticos: um tour pela cidade; o Valle Sagrado e Machu Picchu.
O primeiro pacote nos leva para conhecer o centro histórico de Cusco, com sua catedral de quase 400 anos localizada na famosa Plaza das Armas, que é ponto de encontro de milhares de turistas do mundo todo. Também nos leva para conhecer o Templo do Sol e para as regiões das ruínas dos grandes templos incas (Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Tambomachay e Puca Pucara) — todos construídos com imensas pedras que nos deixam intrigados pela perfeição e exatidão dos cortes e encaixes, feitos num tempo desprovido da tecnologia e equipamentos que dispomos hoje. Nesses locais é comum encontrarmos mulheres peruanas muito enfeitadas e sorridentes, puxando suas lhamas…
No segundo pacote, passamos o dia conhecendo o Valle Sagrado dos Incas, composto por Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Maras, Moray, Chinchero, Tipón e Urubamba. Para se chegar nessas cidades e lugarejos, subimos grandes montanhas que nos proporcionam uma visão do vale que chega a emocionar pela grandiosidade das construções incas e, principalmente, pelos impressionantes montes e montanhas que circundam todo o vale, numa extensão de aproximados 100 km. No caminho para Moray, conseguimos ver ao longe os picos nevados dos Andes – um espetáculo à parte! Só por esse passeio, a viagem ao Peru já vale a pena!
É sempre bom lembrar que em todos esses passeios é imprescindível: sapatos confortáveis, muita água, protetor solar e um agasalho para o final do dia. Por fim, o terceiro pacote nos leva para Águas Calientes e, de lá, direto para Machu Picchu! A chegada à Águas Calientes é feita através de um charmoso trem que pegamos em Ollantaytambo (uma hora de Cusco) e sobe cortando as majestosas montanhas da região. A exótica Águas Calientes, onde passamos a noite, é diferente de tudo que imaginamos. Um lugarejo com 1.600 habitantes encravado em meio às montanhas e cortado pelo rio Urubamba, que possui centenas de hotéis, restaurantes e lojas de artesanatos para acolher os milhares de turistas que circulam por lá — uma festa para os olhos! Uma curiosidade é que em Águas Calientes não existem carros ou táxis —portanto, é bom não levar muita bagagem…
Por fim, na manhã seguinte fomos até o ponto do ônibus que nos leva até a Machu Picchu, num percurso de aproximados 20 minutos. Encontramos nosso guia logo na entrada e começamos a subir à “velha montanha” rumo à cidade perdida dos incas! Para todo lado que se olha tem história, mistérios e uma paisagem de tirar o fôlego! Ao todo foram duas horas conhecendo as ruínas e experimentando sensações de paz, pequenez e perplexidade diante daquele cenário arrebatador.
Cheguei à conclusão de que nem um milhão de fotos são capazes de captar a grandeza daquela região — tem que ver com os olhos e sentir com o coração! De tudo que vi, a conclusão que cheguei é que: as obras das criaturas são, de fato, excepcionais, porém as do Criador são insuperáveis!
